The bottlenose dolphin is the most familiar to all the cetaceans, and is resident all year Did you know?...CLICK HEREround in the Moray Firth. Other locations around the UK, including off the Cornish coast, the west coast of Scotland and the Shetland Islands are now being found to be good areas for dolphin watching.
In the Moray Firth we have the opportunity to see the dolphins sharing the water with the smaller harbour porpoises and other species from time to time, including, minke whales, white sided dolphins and even orcas.

We hope this guide helps you to see and recognise some or all of these stunning creatures.
