The Best Locations to Observe the Moray Firth Dolphins
Last Update >> April 22nd 2001

The Moray Firth has many excellent places to view the dolphins, what better than the thrill of seeing a dolphin against the stunning backdrop this part of Scotland offers.

As you travel along the coast of the Firth it is possible to see not only the dolphins, but a much wider variety of wildlife including many types of sea birds, sea otters and even colonies of seals.

The prime locations for dolphin watching are included in the map below, if you would like a more detailed description of the area and places to visit, we have published a practical Guide to Dolphin watching in the area which contains full details.

If you would like to purchase a copy of this guide, please e-mail or contact us directly.

Other suitable sites include, Findochty, Findlater Castle, Sandend, Portsoy, Whitehills, Boyndie Bay and Macduff.

Remember, the dolphins travel around all day, somewhere, some time, we hope your paths will cross.
